Le locomotive serie E.405 costruite in Polonia per le PKP (Ferrovie Polacche)in seguito acquistate dalle FS sono tra le piu' rappresentative delle FS (Ferrovie dello stato italiane) che assieme al gruppo E.412 vengono utilizzate per treni di forte composizione sulla linea del Brennero ( Verona-Bolzano-Brennero)

*Le locomotive E.405,con alcuni treni completi partono da Milano per Brennero.
