CN can still assemble a decent power set, including four tunnel motors (404, 903, 400, 408), shown here descending into Two Harbors. Thanks to SW for the heads up.
Those who pay attention know that I’m obsessed with both retro French cars and utility vehicles. So why not combine both and get super-excited!
The mega-tough 404 was built up until the late ‘80s and is still a relatively common sight in Africa lugging crazy loads.
What’s your favourite car-based commercial vehicle?
Working downgrade at Two Harbors is this Minntac pellet train behind four tunnel motors (408, 400, 903, 404). Fighting clouds and high sun but this set was worth the drive to intercept. It sounds like this same set went north this evening - in perfect light. Thanks to SW for the heads up.
