SBBC Vectron 193 525 [Rotterdam] met beladen en lege container-, tankcontainer- en trailerwagens als trein 40137 Waalhaven Zuid (NL) - Gallarate (I).

Wederom een trein uit Nederland, wederom geen blauw Vectron. Dit keer was het de 193 260 die trein 40137 uit de Waalhaven naar Gallarate langs Assmannshausen mocht trekken op 22 juli 2020.

De laatste trein die gefotografeerd werd bij Somma Lombardo was er weer één van SBB Cargo. Dit keer werd de tractie geleverd door een van ELL gehuurde Vectron.
De SBB Cargo 193 258 was op 26 februari 2019 onderweg met trein 40137 vanuit de Waalhaven naar Gallarate.

Na TXL werd het een optocht van 3 treinen van SBB Cargo waarvan de eerste trein getrokken werd door de van ELL gehuurde 193 260.
De loc was op 28 februari 2019 onderweg met een containertrein vanuit de Rotterdamse Botlek. Als trein 40137 komt het geheel langs Arth-Goldau onderweg naar Gallarate.

Vanaf 2017 zal al het goederenvervoer door de Gotthard gebruik gaan maken van de nieuwe tunnel tussen Erstfeld en Biasca.
Voor de vervoerders die gebruik maken van deze spoorlijn is het goed nieuws want de reistijd word erg verkort. Helaas heeft het wel tot gevolg dat foto's als deze nog slechts zelden gemaakt kunnen worden.
Op 19 juli 2016 kwamen de SBB 11 336 en 11 664 langs de bekende stek bij Wassen onderweg naar Italië. Aan de haak hebben ze trein 40137 vanuit de Rotterdamse Waalhaven naar Gallarate (I).

Niet veel later dan DB kwam de Re 10/10 combinatie voorbij bestaande uit de 11336 en de 11664. Beide locomotieven hebben trein 40137 aam de haak vanuit de Rotterdamse Waalhaven naar het Italiaanse Gallarate.

193 516 «Aare» ist die erste der zweiten Serie Vectron, die die SBB Cargo International ab Dezember 2019 übernahm. Am 19.01.2021 bespannte die Lok den Zug 40137 nach Gallarate und konnte bei Frick auf der Bözberg Nordrampe fotografiert werden.

11679 & 420 xxx approach Lavorgo whilst working SBB Cargo train 40137 from Rotterdam Waalhaven to Gallarate, 27 Sept 2016
De volgende trein die zich in Arth-Goldau liet zien betrof trein 40137 (Botlek - Gallarate). De 193 260 trok deze trein op 28 februari 2019 door Arth-Goldau richting Italië.
In 2020 zal ook SBB-Cargo de Vectrons gaan inzetten naar Nederland. Nu doen we het nog met de MRCE-189'ers en helaas zijn het heel vaak de logoloze nummers die in Nederland komen. Op 22 juli 2019 had ik geluk, want het was de 189108 met Alpazahmer-logo die met een fraai en vol beladen omgeleide Bustoshuttle 40137 in prettig avondlicht ter hoogte van Dordrecht passeerde op weg richting Venlo en verder.
40137 trundles through Moses Gate station with a train of wagons possibly destined for repair at Horwich Works.

Re 4/4 II no. 11341 and Re 6/6 no. 11677 (with the coat of arms of Neuhausen am Rheinfall) are heading train 40137 Rotterdam Waalhaven Zuid - Gallarate through Switzerland. Lavorgo, 20-05-2016.
40137 heads towards the site of Chinley East Junction before it was reinstated circa 1981.

The scene at Low Moor level crossing just to the West of Clitheroe, following a freight train derailment on November 8th 1976. With the Carlisle crane was Class 40 40137, Class 25 25284 had arrived with crane from Wigan Springs Branch. Derailed vans had demolished the signal box and damaged the track. There were gouge marks on the timbers on the level crossing in the foreground with one of the pair of gates being destroyed. Some of the vans ended-up on the shallow embankment and a ferry van that contained Scotch Whisky for export was being 'looked after' by Customs & Excise staff!

IZN WDP-4D 40137 waits patiently in loopline with 13019 Howrah - Kathgodam Bagh Express at Haldwani , amidst clear sky which was just opposite case at Kathgodam, 6kms away...
Found at Bitter Lake National Wildlife Refuge in eastern New Mexico. Chaves County, New Mexico, USA.
Possibly Laphystia sp.? These beauties were perching on the soil surface.

'Whistler' action as D337 passes through the station (William Tite, 1846 with later additions) with the 9.30am Glasgow to Liverpool on 15 August 1964.
As 40137, D337 would be scrapped at Swindon in 1981.

9 augustus ben ik met mijn vader eropuit gegaan naar Empel-Rees en Angeren. S'avonds stonden we bij Angeren toen er een melding kwam van deze SBB cargo 189 996 met een slecht beladen Busto shuttle. Ik kreeg te horen dat de trein lading aan de loc had en verder slecht beladen. Hier zien we de trein passeren.

I was walking down platform 8 at York when Class 40 40006 came through on the centre road heading for York depot, it was a nice sunny day and I saw 13 Class 40,s that day, 40084/146/187 near Rotherham, and at York 40001/06/72/78/80/81/131/137/145/150. Class 45 45015 Birmingham to York and back. 28/05/1977.

A close up of green Class 40 40137 in the yard at Crewe Works. There were plenty of 40,s at Works that Sunday, 40007/14/24.32/61/66/69/73/75/79/96/99/115/128/137/153/187/192. and 40043/76 were seen at Bescot. 15/12/1974.

Not the best of pictures but I include it to show the state of a lot of Br fencing at this time, a very tatty green livered Class 40 40137 stands in the Yard at Miles Platting, I was photographing in the Manchester area that day, also photographed at Miles Platting that day were, 40010 40020 40117 40124 47032 25114 25254 25293 25305 50030 50038. 16/09/1974.

Les locomotores 40.001 a 40.143 són 040T "Eight Wheeler" que van entrar en servei entre 1914 i 1922 a Administration des chemins de fer de l'État. Van ser construides per ANF Blanc-Misseron, Schneider et Cie, Fives-Lille, Atelier de la Cie du Nord. Eren locomotores de simple expansió i estaven destinades als serveis de maniobres. Inicialment estaven equipades amb cabines obertes, que és van tancar a la decada dels anys 30. Al ser integrades a la flota de la SNCF van rebre la numeració 040TA 001 a 143.
Class 40 40154 makes a splendid sight as it passes under signals on it,s way into Chester station with the 13:44 Llandudno to York service. 40,s seen that Saturday were 40179 Crewe. Chester 40025/28/80 40122/135/137/144/153/169/195. 30/06/1979.

Naast de nieuwe blauwe en ELL vectrons van SBB Cargo, heeft SBB ook nog steeds een hele hoop ( logo loze ) BR 189 locomotieven rijden.
Aan het begin van de avond passeert de SBB Cargo 189 106 de omgeving van Dordrecht Zuid en is met trein 40137 onderweg naar Venlo en met eindbestemming het Italiaanse Gallarate.

Class40 40028 passes Chester No 2 Signal box on its way out of Chester station with the 09:16 Llandudno to London Euston. it was a good day for Class40,s that Saturday i photographed 10 different ones 40025 40028 40088 40122 40235 40137 40144 40153 40154 40195. 30/06/1979.
