Flagowa maszyna Enei wyjeżdża z zakładu, aby wykonać manewry z gruszkami z gipsem, znajdującymi się pod chłodnią kominową. Oprócz powyższej TEM2-047 tego dnia na "gips" pojechały TEM2-028 i TEM2-064 czyli wszystkie klasyczne Walentyny znajdujące się na zakładzie. Na termometrze -15°.

Die schwere Güterzug-Lokomotive 043-903-4 wurde 1943 im besetzten Frankreich gebaut. Hersteller war die Compagnie Genérale de Construction de Locomotives Batignolles-Chatillon in Nantes-St. Joseph. Im Oktober 1943 wurde sie von der Deutschen Reichsbahn abgenommen und in Dienst gestellt. Ihre erste Betriebsnummer war 44 903. Die Leistung dieser wuchtigen Maschine lag bei ca. 1900 PS und konnte im Jahr 1960 durch den Umbau von Kohle- auf Ölfeuerung auf 2100 PS gesteigert werden. In ihren letzten Betriebsjahren, in denen sie als 043 903-4 bezeichnet war, beförderte sie regelmäßig den legendären "Langen Heinrich", einen 4000 Tonnen schweren Erzzug. Er war der schwerste Zug der Deutschen Bundesbahn und verkehrte zwischen dem Emdener Erzhafen und dem Ruhrgebiet. Bis Rheine waren ihm jeweils zwei Loks der Baureihe 043 vorgespannt. Die weitere Beförderung übernahmen dann zwei Elektro-Lokomotiven. Die Emdener Denkmal-Lokomotive ist ein besonderes Exemplar, denn sie beförderte am 26.10.1977 den letzten mit Dampf beförderten Planzug der Deutschen Bundesbahn.
English translation:
The heavy freight locomotive 043-903-4 was built in occupied France in 1943. It was manufactured by the Compagnie Générale de Construction de Locomotives Batignolles-Chatillon in Nantes-St. Joseph. In October 1943, it was accepted by the German Reichsbahn and put into service. Its first operating number was 44 903. The power output of this massive machine was approximately 1900 hp and was increased to 2100 hp in 1960 when it was converted from coal to oil firing. In its final years of operation, when it was designated 043 903-4, it regularly hauled the legendary ‘Langer Heinrich’ (Long Henry), a 4000-tons ore train. This was the heaviest train on German Federal Railway's tracks and always double headed. It ran between the ore port of Emden and the Ruhr area. The two class 043 locomotives operated the train as far as Rheine. Two electric locomotives took over for the rest of the journey. The Emden monument locomotive is a special sample because on 26 October 1977 it hauled the last scheduled steam train of the German Federal Railways.

This engine was wrecked on March, 2024 in the town of Cofradía del Rosario, Jalisco, when the empty iron ore train this engine was trailing crashed head on into a manifest train that was waiting for this train to go into the siding. The lead engine of the iron ore train, EMDX 7221, is also on retired status, unsure if Progress Rail will ever repair it or not.
One of the empty gondolas on the head-end flew into the sky, destroying the rear end of the 4000 and landing on top of the EMDX Tier 4 ACe.

Chakrapani Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu located in Kumbakonam, Tamil Nadu, India. In the temple, Lord Vishnu appears in the form of a discus or Chakra to put down the pride of Surya(the Sun), who subsequently became his devotee
The temple is noted for its exquisite pillars. The presiding deity, Chakrapani has 8 arms. There is a bronze image of king Serfoji II worshipping the lord as he is said to have been cured an illness by the grace of this God. A panchamukha(five-faced) Hanuman is erected in the prakaram (outer precincts of the temple)
In 1620, when Govinda Dikshitar, divan-administrator for the Nayaks, constructed the Ramaswamy Temple, Kumbakonam, he added a commercial corridor between the new temple and the older Chakrapani temple
This temple is situated on the southern bank of Cauvery in Kumbakonam Railway station, Thanjavur district, Tamilnadu. It is the second Vaishnavite temple in Kumbakonam town. Here the main deity is Chakraraja and Sudharshana Chakra.
The Eastern and Western entrances of this temple are known as “Thatchinaya Vayil” and “Utharavana Vayil” respectively and outer Prakara of this temple is made in the form of balcony. Agampara Vinayakar, Panchamuga Aancheneyar and Vijayavalli are the important idols located in this temple.

Little Betsy 4000 is just a fun little project I had in mind since last year so I finally decided to spend some time on it. Again, I wanted it to be very small and minimalistic in design, I am particularly happy with the smooth neo-retro look of it :)
