Menasco C6S-4 "Superbuccaneer"
Al Menasco started building aircraft engines under the name Menasco Motors, Inc., during the late 1920s. By the middle of the 1930s, the Menasco Manufacturing Company had graduated to the design and construction of some of the most famous racing engines of the period, including the C6S-4. Menasco-powered aircraft won 30 out of 35 prizes at the 1936 Los Angeles National Air Races. A Menasco-powered plane won the 1937 Thompson Trophy. The engine on display was acquired from Mr. Bob Bean
