Found this Cuckoo wasp in the greenhouse (6-7mm, Chrysis sp., Cuckoo wasp, Chrysidoidea). They never seem to find the way out and die under the glass.

Dug up a stack from last year, it's a male Dasypoda hirtipes (ID credit: Stefan Verheyen; Melittidae, Hymenoptera) resting on Tansy (Tanacetum vulgare, Asteraceae; Latvia, Valmiera, 10 August 2017).
It looks like it carries a tiny planidium just above the front leg (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Planidium).

This Cross spider (Araneus diadematus, Araneidae, Arachnida) has its web already days along our window (Boom, Belgium).
To have this view i had to photograph it from indoors, lens against the glass, camera on tripod and focus ring for stacking (as fine as i could).

Found this beautiful shield bug (Cyphostethus tristriatus, Heteroptera) on a cypress (Chamaecyparis lawsoniana). Normally it lives on Juniperus, but it can host-shift to the Lawsons' cypress (garden, Boom, Belgium, 11 March 2017).
