This man's name is Zan. I took some video so you can watch him "doing what he does." This is my first video attempt so don't expect much! I hope to be doing more soon.

Where do balloons go, mommy, when you set them free?
Do they float into the clouds or get stuck in a tree?
Do they fly high in the sky or get popped by a bee?
Do they soar with the birds and the bugs in the air?
Or stay close to the ground and get chased by a bear?
Does the wind blow them out over the big blue ocean
Or do they climb up and over the small hills or big mountains?
Do they go out into space and circle the stars
And then come back to Earth after traveling so far?
Or does God collect them all in a big bouquet
And give them to children in Heaven each day?
Where do balloons go, mommy, when you set them free?
I hope they go to Heaven as a gift from me!

Happy Pretty Pink Tuesday! :)
Whatever Abercrombie. You know how I feel about you. Put an Asian in the front and maybe things will change.
We went a bit crazy at the farmers market at 3rd st promenade (obviously THE best farmer's market in town) today - Japanese cucumbers, daikon (with daikon top), cocktail fruit, tangerine, walnuts, pistachios (garlic onion roasted), kale (not much kale left at the market nowadays :( ), carrots, garlic, asparagus, baby broccoli, boc choy, rasberries, blueberries, boysenberries, butter lettuce, celery, kabocha (japanese pumpkins), maitake mushrooms, momotaro (japanese tomatoes), 2 pretzel rolls from Röckenwagner's and a bag of special fertilizer from HayGround Nursery (in Silverlake) with high calcium and magnesium content for the tomato plants we are going to grow. Dinner party this week anyone?

This is the homeless guy who threatened me one time. He saw me with a camera and didn't want his photo taken (it was AFTER this photo was taken). So now I'm posting as many photos of him as I can.

It was like 2 feet long. And he dipped it in his coffee before each bite. Then he would talk and soaking wet coffee-soaked bread bits would fly out of his mouth so I had to keep scooting back. After about 15 minutes he offered me a sip of his coffee, which was full of spit and bread crumbs. I had to decline.

At noon some work-day,
the Swiss promoting the Fasnacht and Swiss tourism at the place of Advertisement experimentation.
3rd Street Promenade during lunch,
Santa Mónica, California
this is the center of the Promenade only a few minutes before dusk. I love strolling around this place during the holiday season especially.
This lady (see boots) was trying to eat a croissant, and these aggressive and angry birds swarmed her.
This cat lady with her cat on a red rope says she wants the cat to meet this puppy, who is such a puppy it can't even walk straight. So the cat gets pissed, it hisses and scratches the dog. And then, despite all that, the cat lady insists that she keep putting the cat in the dog's face, even though the cat is really not happy and the dog just got scratched. Give it up, moron.
A second shot of Emma, now with her awesome red frames glasses. Still glad I got to take a shot with them off though and reveal those beauties lying behind them.
