I designed the Grobo Car as a future rear engined hot rod. I modeled the car from scratch using 3D modeling applications Groboto 3D v 3.3 (90%) & Hexagon 3D v 2.5 (10%). The car was textured using shaders in Vue Complete 2015. It was also rendered in Vue Complete. Slight postwork in Photoshop 2015 CC.
The car is influenced by my love of hot rods, American cars of the 1930s to 1950s and foreign sports cars.
I named the vehicle Grobo after Groboto 3D of which I did the bulk of the modeling in...

It’s been a real pleasure to work with such talented, creative individuals such as Phoebe.

I started this project back in between 2000-2001.
Luckily found the project file in an old hard drive.
The sea had always been her home.
While others fled from storms, Riley stood at the bow of her ship and stared directly into the ocean's fury. Raised among sails, ropes, and stories of lost treasures, she learned one truth early in life: the greatest treasure is not found at the end of a map, but in the courage to follow your own path.
That morning, she arrived at a harbor that appeared on no chart. Turquoise water swirled around her as ancient galleons rested quietly in the bay. Sailors paused their work and turned to watch her approach.
Not because she was a pirate.
Because she was a legend.
They said she could navigate where even the stars disappeared beyond the horizon. They said she survived a storm that swallowed an entire fleet. They also said she was searching for something more valuable than gold.
The truth.
Riley walked forward without hesitation, the sea parting around her steps. Every scar, every wave, and every storm she had endured had led her to this moment.
Because some adventures do not begin when you find the treasure.
They begin when you find the courage to take the first step.

Saw this tutorial a few days ago about polar panoramas. I've been falling in love with these things ever since I first saw them, and when I went out for work this morning it was such a beautiful morning I just had to try it for myself. What do you think?
What I learned on this test is that you should try and shoot panoramas when the sun is at it's peak, and that you shouldn't stand of any kind of intersection when shooting :-)
And, again, I did a little making of. (In Icelandic, again)
The sea had witnessed countless legends, but none were as captivating as the tale of Riley. She was known as the Queen of the Crimson Sails—a pirate who had never lost a battle and could always find her way through the thickest fog.
That morning, she stood proudly on the deck of her ship, listening to the rhythm of the waves and the creaking of the rigging. In her hand rested an ancient compass, a family heirloom passed down through generations. Legend said it pointed not only toward destinations, but toward destiny itself.
Beyond the horizon lay an island absent from every map. Rumors claimed it held a treasure greater than gold—a secret capable of changing the fate of the world. Her crew trusted her completely, for they knew Riley was not chasing wealth. She sought freedom, adventure, and answers to the questions she had carried in her heart for years.
As the ocean breeze swept through her blonde hair, she gazed ahead with the same calm confidence that had made her a legend of the seas. To the world she was a pirate. To her crew, she was the guiding star through every storm.

A Short break from the long exposure stuff. Been feeling a bit minimalistic lately and came up with this render, the first in a two part series I plan on posting here on Flickr.
It would be hard to believe, that in this great big old universe that we are the only living and intelligent life forms out here. I was reading the other day that there approximately 170 billion galaxies in the universe. It's kind of amazing to think, that if stars form cluster, that galaxies also form clusters and what the grand scheme must look like from a distance, say the edge of the universe.
Anyhow, not get too deep in thought I'll stop there, LOL.
One more day until Friday, enjoy!
