Gift for my sister. I have made a 3D version(printed) of her comic book character - virink.com/danaw =)

Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum.

Him got some joints! Now onto hollowing and test prints! After I'm sure the joints will work and don't need any more refining I'll go back and do all the detail work on his fur and fluff.

This time-lapse video shows #3DBenchy being 3D-printed with an experimental cellulose-based filament. #3DBenchy is a 3D model specifically designed for testing and benchmarking 3D printers. It is a small recognizable object that you can download for free, make and share. Learn more at 3DBenchy.com #3dprinting See video: ift.tt/1WNx3Fq Learn more about 3D printing at 3DBenchy.com

Kinematics Dress #2 designed by Nervous System. Worn by Sadiya Sheeba, bespoke fashion designer and Nervous System fan.

This custom-fit dress is composed of more than 3,000 unique interconnected parts which were 3D printed as a single folded piece. While each component is rigid, in aggregate, they behave as a continuous fabric allowing the dress to flexibly conform and fluidly flow in response to body movement. Unlike traditional fabric, this textile is not uniform; it varies in rigidity, drape, flex, porosity and pattern through space. The entire piece is customizable, from fit and style to flexibility and pattern, with the Kinematics Cloth app for clothing design.

3d printed adapter to hold medium format film i a regular film holder.

I only had half plate film holders to try with that is why it's in the weird 6x15,5 format.

Would be 6x18 with a 13x18 of 5x7 holder.

A #3DBenchy printed with zero shells (perimeters) and zero top and bottom solid layers. Only the 25% infill was printed. Sliced with #Simplify3D and #3Dprinted on a #MakerBot Replicator 2 #3Dprinter. Print time: 67 minutes. See video: ift.tt/2iob0Gq Learn more about 3D printing at 3DBenchy.com

The green piece was 3D printed to match on one side the curvature of the MTO1000, and on the other side to match the plate shown in the photo (in this case it's a Manfrotto, but it doesn't matter). This extends a lot the contact surface with the plate, reducing the oscillations otherwise always present due to the springiness of the rubber.
