It's tooooo small!! :D I need to print it again, maybe twice as big! On-screen it is hard to gauge the 'real' size of things. I'm so impressed, though, that this still came out of the printer in one piece!

I've been experimenting with 3D-modeling lately, and heres my latest scene :) Due to my ancient laptop, render-times are super high, for example this scene took an hour and 45 minutes to render even on quite low quality.
Anyways, I thought some of you might like this, and I am eagar to hear feedback from you guys :) I know many elements in this scene are sloppy. To my defence, I should be reading to entrance exams rather than fooling around with Blender, so this was quite a quick work :p Also my computer lacks the computing power, and it freezes pretty reguralry :D
The scene is supposed to be a soviet warehouse/factory, hence the CCCP-esque items. Personally I like this a lot, and I plan to make a lot more scenes that I might post here on Flickr aswell :) So consider this as a small taste of possible things to come :P
I might need to get a new PC...

Was rather pleased with how this render came out. It reminded me of the painterly style of Titian or Rembrandt. Some help from Photoshop enhanced the oil painting style. Not too bad for a bunch of polygons and texture maps :)

I am learning Blender just for fun. I know this cannot be imported in SL because of the particle hairs etc, etc.... Though I still like to post the fluffy cute here + it was an achievement after I quit Blender 4 times before. Lately, we are more compatible. I will try to put it in a scene as an exercise too.
You love the design of the last 75979 set Hedwig, but you only have Classic space on your shelves ? I have the solution for you :)
