Amsterdam's name derives from Amstelredamme, indicative of the city's origin as a dam of the river Amstel. Originating as a small fishing village in the late 12th century, Amsterdam became one of the most important ports in the world during the Dutch Golden Age (17th century), a result of its innovative developments in trade. During that time, the city was the leading center for finance and diamonds. In the 19th and 20th centuries, the city expanded, and many new neighborhoods and suburbs were planned and built. The 17th-century canals of Amsterdam and the 19–20th century Defence Line of Amsterdam are on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Anaglyph 3D is the name given to the stereoscopic 3D effect achieved by means of encoding each eye's image using filters of different (usually chromatically opposite) colors,
typically red and cyan. Anaglyph 3D images contain two differently filtered colored images, one for each eye. When viewed through the "color-coded" "anaglyph glasses", each
of the two images reaches one eye, revealing an integrated stereoscopic image.

This card is an 8X8 card with the image of The Snowman giving the boy a hug. I have used the very effective twisted pyrimage. I matted and layered this iamge on to a starry night sky and broken up with red and green card. I have also embellished the cards with red and clear gems and with the simple sentiment of Happy Christams. This card is priced at £3.75 with free postage within the UK and can be found on the Mamma's Heart page with lots of other cards and gifts at Etsy.com
Another shot of my son in last nights game. I have just recently discovered the 3d effect in paintshop pro and I'm loving it!!!
With thanks to 'Balliolman' for his work in 3D trickery!
Sit 2-3 feet from the monitor, slightly cross your eyes whilst looking at the images, left eye looks right and vice versa. DO NOT STRAIN.
A 3rd central image appears and a strange 'depth' effect is seen. Great fun, well done again Balliolman.

This is a six inch square card.
The topper is printed from a USB key of images.
I printed it twice and decoupaged it....raising it off the card front with dimensional tape....it gives a 3D effect.
I was asked to make this birthday card....it will be given to my neighbours granddad who has a thing about old trucks.
(This was a bit of a challenge for me.)
I hope they like it.
