This is one of the conceptual renderings that I-5 Design and Manufacture created for the Comanche Nation Casino. Inset wood beams raise the ceiling to produce a larger feel, and custom amber mica chandeliers are suspended from the center to add warmth and interest. Mural bands with vibrant colors and ghosted horse imagery are displayed along the top portion of the walls, also adding color, and tying into the upgraded décor throughout the casino floor. This is one of the conceptual designs that I-5 Design and Manufacture created for the Lucky Seven Casino, located in Smith River, California. The overall look that we created for this casino was a lodge theme, which had design and décor elements particular to the surrounding area of northern California. Custom wood columns with rock bases that support wooden overhead trellises create an intimate look and feel for the gaming floor and the use of natural materials, such as wood and mica generates a warm environment. Here's the final product of the dollhouse I made for my 3-D Design class, done in opaque plexiglas.
I had so much fun making this. I have always wanted a dollhouse so it came to mind while choosing an object to make for my plexiglas piece.
It had to represent an inner space where one feels safe. Feeling safe brought childhood straight to mind, and it all came together from there :)
