MNCW #4907 accelerates out of East End interlocking with #55 for Port Jervis shortly before arriving at Secaucus Junction. #4907 is one of four ex-Amtrak F40PHs acquired by Metro-North in the '90s and rebuilt with a CAT HEP generator. Metro-North has a total of eight F40PH-3Cs active on the West-of-Hudson lines, the latter half being ex-NJT engines acquired in 2013.

P-3C 301 on the flightline of Valkenburg a few years before the base closed (July 2006). It looks factory fresh after the major CUP-update it received in Portugal.
This Lockheed Orion was sold to Germany and carried on as 60+01. In March 2020 the plane was severely damaged during refuelling. A fuel tank exploded damaging the plane beyond economical repair.
The other seven P-3C's are now set to be retired by 2025 instead of 2035. The Boeing P-8 Poseidon was chosen as the successor.

About to line-up on runway 05. Training the Germans. The 13 Dutch Lockheed P-3C Orions were sold to Germany (8) and Portugal (5). The Dutch flight crews had the honour to train their German colleagues. The last Orions of the Marineluchtvaartdienst (MLD) left in 2006.
