September 3pm hour. A mesmerizing treasure trove of golden sunshine sparkles appeared in the water as I was walking around Ventura Harbor. Then in the fresh ocean breeze, along came a stand-up paddleboarder, unencumbered and uncluttered. After swirling through the sparkles like a lightweight nomad, he turns and looks back. I wonder if he saw the same thing I did. Anyway, it looks like he was freely enjoying the afternoon and I hope he goes home happy.
To be here was such a treat. I wanted a picture with boats for my 'Hours' picture because I was born in September in the 3pm hour on what is now 'International Talk Like A Pirate Day', so it worked out well. Arrr, Matey!
September is so lovely and it will transition into Fall before we know it. As Summer fades, it leaves its door open just a little...

“Meet The Cleaner”…
I open our "Breakfast Club For Birds" at 8am with nice soft peanut butter (smooth) and top it up at noon with seeds, nuts and crushed fat balls .
High Tea is at 3pm in the winter.. with sunflower hearts and crunchy peanut butter, to help them through the cold nights.
This is our "Cleaner" arriving at 3:30 to mop up the left-overs. the last rays of the days sunshine just twinkling in his eye.
All this happens in my back garden in Felling… My Wife. Cheryl calls it “The Connor Hilton”. I think it’s better than that.
After 70 years of chasing them through fields and woodland I now do it the easy way, make them come to me and hang out of the bathroom window.
I know fall has definitely arrived when we go spend a Sunday afternoon at the apple orchard. We went yesterday and hand-picked some new varieties for us... Zestar, Chestnut Crab and Sweet Tango... YUM!!!

Playing a tribute to David Lynch’s Eraserhead in a film studies thematic dark soundtrack which includes samples!
My background includes many years in Film studies, Art History, Gender studies, English and Greek and Roman poetry, with over 35 years collecting electronic styles of music, including industrial, ebm, experimental and most styles of synth/darkwave/cold wave/goth. I am excited to examine the thematic depths of David Lynch's Eraserhead and the haunting sounds and samples that embrace it. I am making this set in a way where each section or piece is divided into a many layers' paragraph to make an intoxicating essay with samples and added commentary on the film, its fears in society, and the uncomfortable surrealist expressionist scenery this horrific cinematic masterpiece exudes. Take some time off to come listen and dress up so you sink into a metamorphically cerebral nightmare.

It's finally happening. Dox is turning the Big 40, IRL. A turning point in many people's lives, and for Dox this is no exception, so he wants to celebrate it real big with a bang by spinning his own fun mix of epic party tunes and having a contest where people just come as they are, in their best usual styling they wear, and can enter the contest for a chance to win $2000L just for being the best them that they can be. Contest will open at 1pm and voting will start at 2:45pm, with voting closing and being tallied up by 3pm.

I couldn't help to notice that someone commented with "rare moment" for us up here this is a pretty common occurrence, almost every night...which starts at 3pm these days. Much like seeing full fluffy clouds down south

The 3pm East Broad Top RR excursion train is climbing the summit just north of Orbisonia PA.
Looking more like a vintage Anscochrome slide from the mid 1950s, this is actually Lomochrome Metropolis color negative film exposed in the 21st Century. Anscochrome was a cheaper and higher ISO alternative to the standard Kodachrome but the film's color rendition left much to be desired and of course, it was very grainy.

Taj Mahal, Agra, India
We headed in to the Taj Mahal about 3pm the other afternoon to spend a few hours and wait for the sunset.
As well as getting the usual shots ( and joining a queue to do so ) I was also keen to try to get some unusual angles of this amazing building / complex.
The clouds certainly were helping me as we had a large thunderstorm off to the left of this shot and lots of nice fluffy clouds across the rest of the sky, but still nice sunlight on the Taj itself.
