Karen: OK Bruno, let's try something a little different.
Bruno: Awesome. Different like a plate of bacon in the mid afternoon?
Karen: Not that different.
Bruno: Different like a plate of burgers in the mid afternoon?
Karen: You're getting closer. It does have to do with your toy cow.
Bruno: We're making burgers from my toy cow? I knew there was a reason that I love that guy!
Karen: Now that would indeed be very different. But I was thinking more of putting the toy cow on your head for this photo session.
Bruno: Sounds good to me.
Karen: You're not going to ask why?
Bruno: Nope. I love you, I trust you, and I want to spend time with you. So if you want to balance a toy cow on my head to make me look like cowstafarian, I say yes.

This week found me with a ton of photo ideas, of which this was not one. There were many revisions on my plans, but a combination of schedules, other obligations, and cloudy weather put a kibosh on them all. We spent to weekend at the cabin getting it winter ready including taking out the dock and moving all of the deck furniture into the garage (which Bruno and Eva supervised very closely skipping all of their usual naps). My revised plan was to get a photo of him holding the toy cow in his mouth (it really is pretty amusing given how the legs dangle), but he was too tired to play along lying down whenever he could. So my wife informed me that she would put it on his head simply because she thought it would be funny. And of course, she was right.
I was going to choose another from the session for his 52 week image flic.kr/p/yS1mo7 , but there was something about his affable expression and smile that I just had to chose here. I think it also shows a bit of his relationship with his people. He really is one of the happiest dogs that I've ever met.

7月8日早上傾盆大雨, 穿上雨衣準備前往中南半島最高峰番西邦3,143公尺登頂,
先搭乘越南最長的登山列車, 然後坐纜車總長6,282公尺後, 再搭單軌列車上山
沿途由於大雨, 霧茫茫 景觀視線不佳, 尤其到最頂處, 還要爬幾處很陡樓梯 ,天雨路滑
幾乎要抓攔干而上, 好不容易登上番西邦3,143公尺立碑, 四處完全沒有景觀, 還好有遊客配景,
逗留很短, 趕緊下山 ,只能說運氣不佳, 無法看到宣傳上陽光普照, 高山雲海美麗景觀.
有點遺憾.

I met Peter at the horse fair in Ballinasloe, County Galway. Peter is from Sligo and he is a regular visitor to the fair.
He had for sale a mule and a pony..
I met him again a few hours later, and he still had not any luck with a sale.

That's what little girls & boys are made of.
Another interesting theme of the Teleidoscope made me think over, what was my childhood obsession and than actually discuss it with my love and find out the differences between boys and girls.
But for sure curiosity is what drives both.
So when boys seem to be interested in all the outer worlds things like cars, train, games, I saw a pattern of an internal interest with girls. And so for myself my childhood was filed with curiosity towards the own body and (the other) sex.
Corn fields had always that mystical erotic feel to me, hidden from the outside world, those corn cones with brown curly hair, a great place for encounters :)
