The KCS SD70MAC duo continues west on the Sunset Route as the sunlight fades along the Washington Ave. corridor. I believed the train would run on Main 1 to the left, but he ended up staying on Main 2 all the way through the terminal. Not the shot I had hoped, but the evening Belle paint still looked great heading out of downtown.

I got 1 minute - 60 seconds - with this my target bird for my New Years Eve outing to the local coastal wetlands. I got a few pics, he dove under the bridge and then sailed out of sight. Everything else was "gravy" after, and it was an extraordinary calm warm Winter day seeing all my wintering friends. You might have seen the Brant I posted a couple of days ago, my last image for 2019 - this was the first image of that day. Life is good.
