I believe this building was still pretty new in 1910 when a grocery store operating within placed an ad seeking a "young man for delivering and to take care of horse."
The former market has been a church for at least 30 years now.

8649 with 3801 on the rear stroll through Concord West on run 6E58 bound for Rhodes.
25th of September marked the 2nd attempt of locomotive 3801 crossing the Sydney Harbour Bridge which was postponed since March due to the Picton landslide. SETS owned 8649 was hired by THNSW as a rear banker locomotive for this occasion.

3801 is or was known for smoke rings when accelerating, lets hope that hasn't been "fixed" during the 12 year hiatus of operations.
4472 + 3801 returning from Brisbane during a week of torrential downpours.

Locomotive 3801 operating from Picton to Moss Vale and return.
The operation is for the dual purposes of further mechanical testing, as well as locomotive crew training and competency management.
Seen various locations in title of each image - Moss Vale, Aylmerton, Picton and Thirlmere.
(All photos were taken outside of the rail corridor, and at no time was there any risk to persons - and no trees or saplings were damaged in any way!)
3801 return to steam operations at both Central and Tempe Stations this morning... Weather wasn't great, and I got a little wet, but it was well worth it!!
Central Grand Concourse is a 12 image stitched, I wished I have gone higher, and stood in the middle of the entrance, but the people traffic was too busy...
And a couple of Mexicans to boot hanging out of the window, ONE wearing a 'Metro Trains' cap!!! #rude haha

Presumably this vehicle is being used as a 'rush' beginning the journey somewhere at or after Fort Kinnaird because it would not get under the low bridge at Newcraighall
