Back to minimal photography, it's good to be back to origins. I want a break from photoshop after the last one, I felt so frustrated about photography, and I hate feeling that way, because photography always make me feel at ease.

Thank you all who still side by side with me on my project, you truly are an inspiration.

So Here's a candid or "action shot" if you may of a dude on a skateboard. Today after work, Charlie and went to the tunnels near Playland and ran into some skaters (who were probably drunk) rolling around on the ramps and such. I asked if we could stick around and take some random shots of them while they skated (YES, I asked, you can ask Charlie, he was there...). This isn't one of those action shots that shows the skater up in the air or anything like that. I didn't even think it would turn out looking like it does right now but it does! So I'm pretty happy about how it turned out. Thanks to this random dude and his friends for letting us shoot

It won't take long for this to get deflated. Luckily, I have more!

Hey there...long time no see!

And if you didn't miss me...I did miss you!

There are a lot of excuses I could come up with, but they are all kind of weak...as weak as I was with the project the last months.....

But now I back in the game..hopefully for a longer period of time now. With my new flat in Hamburg, I am closer to the best spots to meet awesome strangers than ever. I I straight away used this opportunity to meet Eyline.

She was standing with her friend(my next stranger) in front of a little food store and didn't get insight straight away. So I used the little moment to approach them and asked them for a picture. I have to admit, that I was mainly focused on her friend(you will soon see why....). But when she stepped in front of the camera..I was astonished. She had this kind of a look, you rarely get..but see yourself:

Texturising...

I don't really like this image, but at 11pm I shall not be fussy :)

It's weird how I learn my likes and dislikes in photography, of what I create and what I like in other people's work... It's really surprising how I can love textures on other people's photos, yet dislike my own (I'm useless at it, aren't i?)
