This stacked image of the Milky Way was captured using my hand-cranked Barn Door Tracker built with LEGO parts, and a Canon SX260HS with CHDK. 2-minute exposure(s) at 400 ISO, stack and dark frame processing with Deep Sky Stacker, 32-bit TIFF processing via Photoshop CS6/CC Camera Raw. I’ve posted building instructions, materials, and software at the above link.

I'm in the midst of doing a 365 doll project. I don't actually have 365 dolls but the basic intention is to photograph a different doll each day, in addition to a different doll's photo every day I will also post up some pertinent details about them.

Bio- Daniella prefers to go by her nickname Dani, as she thinks it suits her personality more. Dani normally extremely laid back and is universally well-liked. She loves bright colors, camp and music. She is very rarely seen without her headphones on. She is fairly athletic but is also somewhat clumsy, she may kick the winning goal for her soccer team but she will probably end up landing flat on her ass in the process ^^; Even though she is generally laid back she is extremely protective of her friends, and will go to great lengths to protect them.
Dani and Jinx were previously best friends. Dani had a crush on Jinx but she never pursued it because Jinx was in a relationship. When Jinx's boyfriend dumped her, Dani and her got a little drunk one night and decided to take their friendship to the next level. They are now dating.

Dani just arrived today (in addition to a Lan Ake) unexpectedly as a gift from my sweetheart. He had mentioned something about buying me a lesbian last week and I was just utterly baffled, of course when I opened the box the connection clicked (the odd bits of trivia he remembers about the pullips >_<).

Katelyn's bunnies (Luna and Ron) had babies.
I got to hold them when they were one day old.
Upon seeing them I screamed "Oh my god! They look like tiny baby hippos!" and Katelyn replied "Holy crap I said the same thing to my sister this morning!"
Have I told you guys that we're best friends?
We named this one Dobby.

It's been unseasonably warm and he sun has shined here all week. A real bonus that has put me in a colourful mood :) I took a shot of a stack of shopping baskets in a local store (the original is below) and created this collage by duplicating it 3 times and rotating each one 90 degrees, then put them together in BigHugeLabs bighugelabs.com/mosaic.php
As I took this with my iPod touch, I also got to check out the new standard edit features in iOS8 :)

Gracefulness is not only can be found in beautiful women performing water ballerina in pools.
Troopers can performed this gracefulness of actions too. Hereby we called this Space ballerina.

These mice (/mouse) just won't quit, and I'm tired of waking up at 330a, so I decided to take Saturday to clean *everything*. I also put peppermint soaked cotton balls in strategic places to hopefully deter said mice/mouses. Oh, NYC, you can quit it now.
But anyway - I dug up these shoes in the process. They're now so old that they're crumbly and hard, but they brought back so many awesome, nostalgic memories of studying abroad. They once had tick marks for every country I had worn them in, but those have since worn off. Throwing them out was definitely bittersweet, but I think having them sit in the closet for...8ish years...might be long enough...haha.
