This is my Peterbilt 379. Its a max of 9 studs wide Because I wanted to make it as close to minifig scale as possible. Before I began building, I decided I wanted to try using as many Irregular, Awkward or complex angle techniques as I could, to get the shapes I wanted. (Just to challenge myself a bit)
I chose this truck cause I love its shape (Optimus Prime) And who knows, maybe it can transform...JK
MKT 379 has left its train in Glen Park yard and the power is headed for the pit at Kansas City Kansas in the summer of 1988.
Well after over a year with no ideas for Lego builds, I recently found myself inspired to do something new. I decided that it was time to build a new model of a semi truck. I wanted to make it much more detailed than my last attempts. For that I wanted to include details such as a tandem that moves on the trailer and even the connection hoses. For the overall design, I chose the Peterbilt 379 since it is a vey iconic design in the trucking industry.
A quick selfie or two while fetching more red wine, had far too much at the restaurant (food and wine). I think it will be a late one tonight......having to much fun to go to bed yet!!
