Yes, I own a Keffiyah. The funny thing is I don't mind wearing it on the internet for all to see but I am reluctant to wear it in public. Well, it is very rare to see one in Australia (actually I have never seen anyone wearing one in Australia, except me!).
Today was a disaster. I took the afternoon off to fly because the air looked so good and this was the first day in a week when it wasn't raining. As soon as I walked out of the office a 30 knot south-westerly front came through which meant that flying was definitely off.
So, instead I decided to utilise the remaining daylight to attempt another strobist shot at the beach which failed miserably when the flash was blown over. I just managed to catch the camera on the tripod before it blew over as well. How strong does the wind need to be to blow a tripod-mounted camera over?!?

Day 2 of the Montane Winter Spine Challenge and today saw the start of The Spine Race, a non-stop 268 mile winter ultra-marathon encompassing the entire length of the Pennine Way. Good luck to all involved, and hope the weather improves.
