Another well known Brisbane character is John Pappadakis. Often spotted in the West End area. Very friendly gentle character. He is Greek but has lived in Australia for most of his adult life.

Watching some trout break surface when I saw a wake coming toward them. I had seen a river otter in the area and hoped it was she coming back. It wasn't. This steelhead leisurely swam around not seeming to bother any of the fish.
