This tower overlooks Broadway and the village where I take the majority of my photos. There are several photos where it is in the background on top of a big hill. Day 319 Gorgeous Afternoon is an example. It is to the right of the tree at the top of the hill in the background.
I looked outside the kitchen window this morning and saw the sunrise. I grabbed the phone and went outside to capture it :-)
The Oracle.
I took a few shots of the Robins who frequent my back garden but 135mm wasn't long enough to get me close enough.
I walked past Riley's room and noticed the beautiful light emitted from his portable idiot box so grabbed the camera.
He is nowhere near as twitchy as the Robins and tends to stay still whilst transfixed on the screen.
Enjoy the weekend folks and catch you tomorrow.
is a great place to have a coffee or a drink. Gerome is the landlord and runs a good bar.
Vimoutiers France is twinned with Fordingbridge England, thus the name.

So, yesterday at the Photography Show I spotted the Lensbaby stand and thought I would have a chat with someone as I really don't feel that I've unlocked the potential of this lens system. The guy I spoke to gave me some helpful pointers and it seems that with my macro converters I simply haven't been getting in close enough. Anyway, part of the way through, my husband nudged me and whisprered, "He's the President of the company!" Ha! Ha! Nothing like going straight to the top!
So, had another try today. It's definitely something to work on!
