Today is going to be rainy and crap. This morning I saw the sun was out, so I went out immediately to get a photo before the sun went away. As I am uploading this, the clouds have taken over. Glad I went out when I did :-D
The Oracle.
I took a few shots of the Robins who frequent my back garden but 135mm wasn't long enough to get me close enough.
I walked past Riley's room and noticed the beautiful light emitted from his portable idiot box so grabbed the camera.
He is nowhere near as twitchy as the Robins and tends to stay still whilst transfixed on the screen.
Enjoy the weekend folks and catch you tomorrow.

There you go and there you have it. The last shot of this years 366 and 731 consecutive days of shooting. I am pleased I have taken it so seriously and looking back I have some shots which I'm really proud of.
I have really enjoyed it and I've come close to doing another but I need a rest.
Thanks to all those who have liked and commented on my work along the way. I know I haven't always replied but you have helped me to the end and it has been much appreciated reading all the awesome feedback. Massive thanks also to Chris T. Your input and help really got me through and without you my lp shots wouldn't have been so polished. A nicer chap to go out with you couldn't wish to meet. Top man.
Lastly thanks must go to Lauren. Putting up with me stressing when things weren't going my way or me asking you every night which one of these ten very similar shots you preferred, you're awesome. Also Riley for allowing me to point my camera at you and doing what I ask when all you want to do is climb a tree or throw some stones on a walk. I'm looking forward to spending the time I spent looking through the viewfinder doing stuff together without it turning into a photo opp.
This one today had time limitations. I wanted to visit the massive tunnel on the Monsal trail but that was too far. Then I remembered this one which is 5 minutes from my house! I'll be back here for sure and can't believe I haven't been here after dark. I wanted the silhouettes of all three of us walking towards the golden light. I added a couple of textures from previous shots in ps and had a bit of a faff.
This is number 366 of my 366 and catch you all soon.
Happy New Year.
The End.

Wrong body of water for a beauty of a sunset, but I try to make the most of every opportunity I'm given.
