Of Love and Shadows

I have this thing with squares.

Camera rotation and zoom pulling of three images exposed from the tablet screen.

This is number 260 of my 366.

The weather was kind to us as we walked in Littondale today enjoying the views over towards the mighty Pen-y-ghent. We left the 694m summit for a warmer day.

Not often is the capital building not front and center, but today was just one of those days.

Blowing in the wind.

It feels so good to type the '3' as in 300!!

After some considerable experimenting I finally perfected my recipe for oat bran pancakes.

5 photo HDR set processed in Aurora HDR with strong ghost removal to isolate the moving pedestrians out enjoying the sun

btw hand held

It was freezing cold and windy while shooting this one on top of accidentally breathing in the smoke balls.

Found these old tins in the cellar. They don't have any cocoa or tobacco in now but nails and a random selection of screws my Dad must have put in them years ago.

The ibis are taking over new territory

Remember that one time we rode bikes into the night, did a little off road action and rode back under a full moon?

A short bust of sunshine

A typical night where I sneak in some reading in the dark while the baby is sleeping and before I fall asleep myself.

I wish this was in focus but somehow I miscalculated and then the battery died. I think I'll shoot this setup again with better focusing, I've had it in my mind for a while now.

For the time being, this will have to be enough, even though I'm gritting my teeth as I'm writing this. I could have opted to shoot something else quickly with my phone, but part of the daily photo challenge for me is 1) to let go of perfectionism and get over myself, and 2) to document more of my life with me actually being in the pictures.

More blade based faffing this evening. Rotated on 3 axis.

This is number 274 of my 366.

Just a Couple of Pelicans at the Soldier's Point Boat Ramp.

Seeing double after finishing May 2020 with 800 miles on my bike!

March snow on State Street isn't really anything out of the ordinary for Madison, wait five minutes and it'll change.

See more in the 366 project.

Colour. That was the order of the day.

Lost in the sun.

Stairway to heaven?

Where'd she go?

Just a quickie as we are planning to be otherwise engaged tonight - we are all so excited!
