Images taken from my walks between work keep coming. Days working from lunch to late evening doesn't give me much time. However the light lasting long now :) Day 131/365
I have been trying to have fresh flowers in the house. It makes me smile and brings some much needed sunshine inside during lock down. It also has become my fallback when I am feeling uninspired for my daily photo. So really, thank goodness for flowers and all they do for me! It’s the little things.
This was the photo I was trying to take a few weeks ago, when my kitty decided she was ready for her close-up (Mr. DeMille). 😂
I love spring!

Waiting on my train during snowfall made a good opportunity to take out my camera.
No moon in sight tonight on this overcast night as I hoped.
I know I have been posting a lot of spring blooms, but I just can’t help myself. Every day there is something new and so wonderful!
Almost fell asleep without posting a photo today. Maybe I will have some time tomorrow to take photos with my other camera.
Fully vaccinated. ✅ House/cat sitter. ✅ Hitting the road (sky). ✅ Feels weird to fly after more than a year of quarantine, but I have been dreaming about this day for so long.
Silhouette study.

Haven’t used my Canon camera in awhile with my favorite 100mm macro lens. So, I broke it out to use on some Snapdragons that came back up from last year.
My Friday post a few days later! With spring in the air I also spotted these as the snow melted. Just wonderful to see even though we had a cold spell again with snowfall. But I hear the birds singing happily and that is another beautiful spring sign. Day 68/365
On Sunday it was a wonderful spring day, even the bees were out after the long winter. Still cold nights and on Monday we even had some snowfall. Day 84/365
Another lovely day here. It is sunny and in the 60’s. Just loving it. I love springtime. We pretty much live on our screened in porch when the weather permits. Our kitty, Bandit, is in heaven right now. I guess this goes back to my post yesterday, it’s the little things!
Ok, so I don’t want to be the person who always takes and shares photos of her cat, but I could not help this one. I was setting up for a photo and Bandit just really wanted to help. She followed me around and got in lots of shots. I could not get mad at her. She makes me laugh too much.
Spent the Sunday out skiing with my camera packed. Back to manual. I've been using the TV and AV mode a lot lately. At first I used manual at all times, till I realised it wasn't the best when shooting people moving and when photographing wildlife.
My purpose with 365 days photo challenge is to be better and that includes using and trying out manual settings as well. Day 63/365.
We're having a beautiful sunny Sunday evening. Decided to use the pocket camera that's waterproof for a water capture. My very first try on this. 182/365
I have planted several different types of lavender over the past few years in our garden and I am always excited to see them all come back. I love running my hands through them
to release the fragrance. Smells so good. It’s really is the little things in life.
It is nice to be back home hanging with our kitty. One more day to relax before it’s back to work. Turned out to be a pretty nice day.
I will be honest, I am exhausted. Can’t wait to go to sleep! I thought I would capture a little cheer before I relax and go to sleep.
A winter warming Scottish lentil soup must be my favourite. My first year in Scotland I tried a lot of "typical Scottish" food. Lentil soup is a tradition on the table and I'm always looking forward to have it on Hogmanay for New Years Day dinner together with homemade steak pie. That said, I'll have it any day, Delicious!
