A walk home. Camera handheld in low light... Day 93/365

At last some light for landscape photo's, it was a bracing walk on Walltown Crags but so beautiful.

This is the view towards Cawfield Crags

365 Project; needed something for my project and noticed these toothpicks in my kitchen.

Snow along the road past my home. Taken on bulb exposure, approximately 70 seconds.

This is the 34th Image in my 365 challenge.

All that glitters is not gold

One of the flowers brightening the garden at the moment.

Hadrian's Wall within Northumberland Naional Park

Weather was abysmal this morning then at 1pm things changed so off we went to Hadrians Wall to visit the newly crowned English Tree of the Year.

The Goldcrest was waiting for 'breakfast' morning and was hopping around while I was flicking the fat into the conifer.

Taken just before disaster struck.

I dropped my camera and lens breaking both of them - they are now boxed and waiting to be posted off for repair.

My 80-400mm lens hadn't yet sold with Ffordes so I'm getting that back in the meantime it will have to be the 300mm lens.

This is a bigger challenge than I anticipated.

Very pretty little pot Chrysanthemum, covered in flowers and lots more to come,

cheered me up on a bad day.

Out and about in the sun on day 111/365

One minute of light and that was it, worth the climb up though as I saw a Snow Bunting on Hadrian's Wall.

It's not great, it's was 10 minutes to sunset on a miserable day when I looked out and saw a single Waxwing in my tree.

Had to try and get a garden tick photo, I hope it comes tomorrow to finish the berries.

Usually come in groups but a lone bird was reported in Wark to the west of here so maybe it's the same bird

redid the water pool today, birds seem to appreciate it.

Cool winds in the air and snow falling during the afternoon yesterday. Meanwhile, I hear on the news that the first Cranes has arrived. Day 74/365
