Es paradójico como en un proyecto de una año donde a priori lo que más va a haber es tiempo sea la falta de este lo que impida poder realizar muchas de las ideas que se van a quedar en el tintero, y es que el tiempo se escapa entre los dedos...

I've probably shared way too much information with everyone the past 364 days. I'm guilty as charged, and wear my heart on my sleeve, though it doesn't always show. Grew up very shy, would never ever talked or raised my hand in school. Was even very introverted in college and well into my 30's. This past year of self portraits has allowed the inner me to come out - quite a scary experience. We all want to feel that we're contributing, that we're doing a good thing, the right thing. It helps to have honest comments and opinions...feedback and honest conversation. Before starting this project, I read a few "words of wisdom", they were this: "Diane, no one really cares about your 'stuff'...they're all to concerned with their own 'stuff'...so GET OVER IT!" Yes, maybe so, still I totally want to thank those of you who have taken the time to comment, to wear your heart on your sleeve, and to acknowledge each of us as equal human beings, all wanting to know we are ONE.....ahh life...one amazing journey!
Day 364
The fun thing about photography is that nothing ever goes to plan. As painful as that is sometimes, the whimsical nature of photography always makes things interesting :)

This may only have been day 364, but the end of this project has been a long time coming.

One year ago, I started this project. I have only missed one day.
I originally posted a different photo, but I changed my mind the minute I uploaded it. It didnt look right. So here is this photo, I had a lot more fun shooting it compared to the other one.

I shot this the other day with my friend Davey in that same abandoned building. This didn't come out like I wanted and I was actually going to re-shoot it but I have been planning my last photo for a couple days and I just want to get it done.
I will be shooting my final photo today. I can't believe it's almost done.

Waddled around today with Zoe (who's in this picture) and Evan, and somehow ended up at this girl's house, and seeing this girl there too.
In other news: tomorrow is my last day of this project and I don't really know how I feel about it yet.
