This guy was just admiring the cityscape from one of the levels on the way up to the Basilique du Sacre Couer. We were sitting slightly behind him, and between us was a middle-aged woman dancing and singing as if she was in a broadway show. She wasn't asking for money, so I assumed she was either crazy, or just a really happy person. Either way, she was really entertaining and fun to watch.
I went into town with some high school friends in the evening and I really enjoyed it, we just sat there having drinks and talking but I had a good time.
I feel like I need to apologize for delaying posting up all my pictures. I've got a bunch more to upload and I have some one here hidden but everything is out of order since I'm using something like 4 different cameras and memory cards to do my 365 Project.
So here is the deal. I haven't bought a new camera and I'm waiting for my broken one to come back from Circuit City. I got a warranty on it in case it accidentally fell like it actually did. I'm a little cash strapped right now because 1) I'm moving into a house and I'm trying to be cautious, 2) my birthday is coming up and my best bud Nicole is planning a weekend of stuff to do. I need the cash for that, 3) speaking of birthdays, there are birthdays galore coming up and I need to purchase gifts, 4) I belong to a MINI Cooper club and our big annual meet at Disney World is happening at the end of September. Once again I need money for that, 5) My Disney annual pass has expired. I want to renew but Disney, unlike Universal, makes you plop down $358 (BEFORE tax) smackaroos all at one time, 6) concerts are coming up and I really want to see a few groups and I want to get souvenirs from my Coldplay concert and New Kids on the Block concert, 7) I found this fabulous Hello Kitty purse at Sam Flax that I want to get (if you know me you know I love different sorts of purses). Then there is that whole other side of daily things I need and clothes I want to purchase. I've been eyeing some more Jack Purcells and the list goes on and on.
So apparently I need to find me a sugar daddy quick or win the lottery, neither of which is going to happen over night. And the possibilities are about as great as getting hit by a meteor while on the loo.
The Challenge: Take one self portrait each day for a year.
The main thing is that you are both the photographer and the subject. For the purposes of this group, any photo which you took that contains any part of your body counts. You can use tripods, timers, or whatever else you need just as long as you take a photo yourself.

So, i realized recently that although i've had pics of me working, it's never been WITH my workmates. since they all work in Phoenix, and i'm only there quarterly and on my own the rest of the time, i guess it's not THAT strange but, still . . . nonetheless.
This is me and my colleague Cindy out in NYC tonight. She looks so happy not only because we got killer pizza but because she and her peeps did a great presentation today - arguably the best in the conference (or at least the one that "sold out" the most and had no remaining seating). Now she gets to just relax and enjoy tomorrow!
Me, i just was a microphone runner so no pressure on me! :)
