Getting lost in the beauty of this world

Train 34 used to be a late evening job at Trout Lake and this late August shot would be one of my last of 34 until the following spring in Trout Lake, but what a way to end! 6655, 4505 and 4009 lead 69 cars into the evening sun near milepost 448 on August 29, 1996. As added interest there are 2-3 bright red ballast cars about 5-6 cars deep in the train that appear to be former ore cars from somewhere. A rescan of one of my early flickr efforts.

Letzte Nacht habe ich trotz Mond mal auf Caldwell 34 gehalten, und musste dann feststellen, dass um 01:39 Uhr ein Meridianflip notwendig ist... also wach geblieben, und es hat auf Anhieb funktioniert :)
