In memory of those killed in the dastardly terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Kashmir yesterday. We were there in beautiful Kashmir valley barely a month ago and we had come back with such wonderful memories. Those memories will now always be tarnished by this horrific incident.
When will human beings stop needlessly killing other innocent human beings ? When will those behind the guns realize that they are just pawns in the games played by corrupt and unscrupulous people in power? Why do we have to hate each other in the name of religion and race?? Why can't we simply live in peace??????

How about this?! Another skimmer. I'd go as far as to guess a Flame Skimmer. What's cool is I was at "work" and I saw this guy perched so I pulled out my phone. He stayed while I played with the focus, from probably no more than a foot away. No crop here - pretty remarkable.
The dredging continues, trying to clear a channel to the drydock so that the Bessie Ellen can finally get in.......

my 800mm 5.6 wide open and a shutter speed of a 30th of a
second..the camera resting on a bean bag for stability... :)
