DREWW BLOOOD ( its really Andrew Litsch though...)
he is another photog from my area! but I swear, he is one of the best! he is one of the few guys that will tell you like it is straight up, no symp. he will jump down your throat in a second and let you know his opinion! hahah and I like that, he doesn't really hold back. OHHH and he also uses Nikon (#rare) But yeah, check out his work here!!!!!!!! its awesome.
anyways today was pretty cool (literally and figuratively). The weather was slightly on the cold side! and it was a pretty fun day!
afterschool I got home and get ready for work. I went in at 5, but apparently I really wasn't supposed to work hahaha So I go to Plato's to sell all the clothes that I had in my trunk from when I cleaned out my closet.
On my way home I get a call from Drew asking me if I wanted to go shooting later at night! at that point I was super glad I wasn't working. We met up at around 7:30ish at a Starbucks downtown, then we went to Las Olas!
there where still awesome Christmas decorations up which made for sweet bokeh!!!
most of the time I was being Drew's model (which I really didn't mind cause it showed me how he directs people). We did some crazy stuff where we would have all the lights and everything set up on the side walk, and then once there really weren't many cars coming we ran to the middle of the street, set everything up and then take a few pictures before cars started coming again! we got pretty close to being hit a couple of times (well not really, lol almost though).
We then walked around some more and then I started free-lensing (voila) and got this! there was a cool store with some sweet light! all natty.

LBN 331 is an emission nebula located north of the supergiant star Deneb in Cygnus constellation. The hydrogen filaments are represented in wave-like forms mainly around the star O2 Cygni.
Imaged over a few nights in July. I used @Adam Block Image Blend to colorize and combine the Ha data with RGB stars.
The topic today is Scale, had alot of fun with this challenge. Would you like a glass of bokeh? The bokeh was a happy surprise.

Bakelite Caravan
This Pod caravan is onr of several at the now closed Bekerlite Museum. Constructed from the Bakerlite composite, early form of plastic.
The museum was an Aladins cave of all things Bakerlite, and on our visit i had the pleasure of speaking to the Museums owner Patrick Cook who told me at the time that his collection was now must to large to be housed at the three storey former water mill it then occupied in Williton Somerset and that only about a third of the collection was actually on display. Considering there were literally thousands of items you have to wonder what other gems lie in wait.
But if he is able to reopen at a bigger and more urban location a visit to the collection is a must.
