The Texas Stars played the Rockford IceHogs in the third game of the AHL Central Division semi-final playoffs on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at the H-E-B Center in Cedar Park, Texas. Ian is number 32 in my 100 strangers project. I met him at Finchingfield, Essex. He had just won a race for charity with an army colleague of his. He was happy to pose for me when I told him about my project. He told me that he was working at a new centre in Colchester that has just been built to provide rehabilitation for injured soldiers.

To live among monuments is a glorious experience. People do not just come to places like the Piazza del Popolo to just stare at it. They come to live among it and appreciate it. If you don't mind all the tourists taking pictures and people trying to sell you selfie sticks, its a lovely place.

I'm so happy my mom is back home! Her Aunt passed away on Thanksgiving. With her brother, she went up to IL to spend time with her Uncle & cousins. Best thing is she brought the snow!

For their deeds will bring about their own decay.
The fruitful land will produce its yield
The barren will be clothed in green field

A world where love and mercy never fail.
