Después de dos días malito con catarro... volvemos a sonreír!! :)
After two days sick with a cold ... we smile again! :)
I’ll be up at 4am tomorrow morning to take a roadtrip out to Victoria for the weekend! I’ll be catching a plane back into the city with a mini layover in Vancouver Sunday morning.
So as usual when I’m away: The long weekend’s photos will be queued up on here & Tumblr!

I've gotten this airplane as consolation for breaking my arm in September 1971. My sister wrote in my diary:
"(4.9.71) Er baut mit Legos (und wie!), sogar sein neues Flugzeug schafft er ganz mit links, und kleine Häuser mit richtigem Dach, usw."
He's building with Legos, he even manages his new airplane wih the left hand, and small houses with real roof, etc.
Most difficult later on was to find the red barrels. I wasn't even able to find six of them just to show you how it looks like in the instruction, so I did what I always did and wedged a 2x3 plate as rudder.

Physically and emotionally. But things will get better...they have to.
Oh and, I usually do not post such a detailed close-up, with such harsh light that shows all my dry skin and the red spots and all the imperfections...but I think it went well with my mood today. I am SO glad the weekend is here, even though I think there is way too much to do and little time to rest and some things I am looking forward to and some things I am not.
50 Random Facts About Me
#13: I have 7 visible/permanent scars (meaning they are not going to get any better and you can see them for sure) - 4 on my stomach from when I had my gallbladder removed, one above my right eye, one on the palm of my right hand, and one on my right leg. Even though the 4 on my stomach are the ones no one usually sees, they are the ones that bother me the most, and make me feel very self-conscious and unsexy.
