The Northern 321/9 four car sets are usually found on the Leeds to Doncaster services.So I was surprised to find this on a Skipton to Leeds service. There was also a 322 unit here so with the 333s that was nearly the full set.

La 321.048 de ALSA bajando de Cerro Negro a Talleres Requena con dos coches (WR y ZZ) de la AZAFT. Esta semana ya han salido de talleres y en los próximos días volverán a Zaragoza.

La reluciente 321.048 de Tecsa estacionada en el depósito de Miranda de Ebro, tras haber llegado desde las obras del Corredor del Mediterráneo en Moncófar. Al lado, otra Alco y unas 269.4 que no han tenido la misma suerte. Saludos a los presentes!
La 321-005-1 se encuentra estacionada en la vía de topera de Montcada Bifurcació. En aquellos tiempos era muy usual dejar las locomotoras estacionadas en esa vía. 07-1997.

And a thank you to Jane Statham for this photo. The Monday after vacation, crazy work day that ended up being a 12 hour day. A little voice in my head said, grab this shot while you can, earlier in the morning. So glad I did! :-)
An interesting interaction which resulted in some rather long tidal streams outstretched from a spiral galaxy like arms. I'm not sure they could be considered as part of the arms or just streams.
I used Dark Energy Survey DR1 for color. Not quite sure on the filters for that. Will have to update the description when I figure it out, but it looks like a typical combination of near-infrared / red / green filters. I took the image straight off legacysurvey.org's viewer since I'm having trouble getting data access. Seems my email isn't working tonight.
If you take a look at the DES DR1 data in the legacysurvey viewer you can see there is a transient of some type near the center of the spiral galaxy. Could be a supernova, or it could just be a sneaky asteroid. It's hard to tell without a date/time for the observation that captured the transient, though.

CN 321 has CN 2813 & CN 3099 for power as it heads west with tonnage from Southwark Yard. It is about to pass the eastern and then western entrances to Taschereau Yard.
This is a downtown office building in Abilene, Texas. The ground floor contains an office furniture store and I don't know if any of the spaces in the upper three floors are occupied.
