Retropan 320 shot as a comparison to the previous, more succesful shot on Fomapan 200. Again, the negative is very thin and hard to scan.
Camera: Toyo Field 45A
Lens: Fujinon-SWD 90mm f:5.6
(red Adox snap-on filter)
Exposure: 1/2" @ F/45
Film: Retropan 320 Soft 4x5" dev. in Rodinal (APH-09) 1+49 in a Jobo 2521 tank (2509n reel)
The negative is scanned on the Canon CanoScan 9000f flat-bed scanner in two passes and stitched.

320 Granville is a 115 metres tall office building located near Vancouver's waterfront. Designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox (KPF) , 320 Granville is clad in glass with powder-coated aluminium framing. The skyscraper's relationship to the water was expressed formally in a series of concave and convex undulations on the facade of the building, which give it an an aqueous form. The building was inaugurated in 2023.

We had a particularly grim but beautiful walk this morning at Wessenden Head Reservoir.
The memorial for Keith Bennett at the top of the hill, a reminder of this places hidden but not forgotten past.
It was bleak and super windy but bracing and invigorating at the same time.
i saw the exhibition of robert frank's 'americans' at SFMOMA a few weeks ago and was blown away... so this is my little tribute to frank; although it's in color, i tried to emulate the view he often takes, i.e. from the outside looking in, the bystander, voyeur ...what have you... with the subject either engaged with or removed from the photographer (or in my case, the tripod). something not too unfamiliar in my photostream but this was a new way of presenting it. anyway, i dig it :P
