Sometimes I think he is going to sink faster than a Kevin Costner movie.
Dusty still isn't the best swimmer. But, he is making some progress and his confidence has been growing (I don't know why, though - he's still terrible. lol).
I've taken Dash and Dusty to a nearby river which feeds into the ocean. Monday, Dusty will get a real taste of the beach and surf. I've been a bit hesitant to let him loose after his shenanigans at the RV park, where he thought running away from me for over an hour was funny.
I did take Dash to the ocean beach by himself on Thursday. Dash had spent a good deal of his first two years at the Oregon Coast. To say that I have never seen a happier dog is not an understatement. He ran and ran and ran in circles in and out of the surf. He was so joyful that several people stopped just to watch and share in his joy.
Oh, and before I forget (again), Dusty turned one-year-old on the 6th. Hard to believe. Here's his birthday photo: www.flickr.com/photos/7684325@N05/54708811737/in/photostr...
Don't ya just love the white trim?! ...especially the white sidewall tires? What a classy look! They were commonly used from the early 1900s. They really spoke of such class and style!
This, too, was taken at the Goodguys Car Show of 2016, located in Puyallup, Washington, at the Fairgrounds.

Well, I really don't need to say it, but there are not many "30's" left in this country. So, I have not photographed any lately, so I've decided to have a "32 Thursday". It's actually a "42 Sandwich" as a northbound Amtrak with a 42 splits a couple of Metro North stand-by trains at Poughkeepsie, NY on a smokey day, (thanks to Canada burning some forest).
Methinks, 32's will be gone before we know it. Anybody seen an Amtrak F40 in the past couple of years?
Thanks to Vic Lines for getting my lazy ass out of bed and doing somthing productive.
Dave and Maggie chilling by the Sturgeon River near Indian River. We stopped and visited friends and just enjoyed a nice afternoon.

52 Weeks of Dogs.
Kicking of my second month with more camera rotation.
These are good at the moment as they are easy to set up and can be shot sat down.
Old PCB shot converted into a bitmap, rotated the camera with two play throughs for one 360 spin. Tripod swap for the blade rotation in the middle.
Lightpainting Brushes modded mini circle blade for the central rotation.

How to drive a border collie insane: repeatedly ask him if he's "Ready?". Ready for what exactly, nobody really knows but of course, any self-respecting border collie is always ready for anything, so it doesn't really matter anyway! Asking Flynn if he's "Ready?" results in a lot of awfully excited skipping about from paw to paw, running backwards & forwards, hopping up & down & woofing. Silly pup ;-)
Toting a lengthy cut of Difco air dumps loaded on the Pipe Mill Spur, Rio Grande GP30s No. 3007, 3022, and 3001 pull the UTO4L into Provo, Utah on a pleasant Jan. 15, 1994 afternoon.
So I was in the sea with my sunnies on ( is that slightly odd? i dont know..) and was getting abit splashed when i realized the little water droplets catch the light and make bokeh on my sunglasses so i put them infront of Beccas camera. :)
I quite like it.
