Part of my ongoing cancer series that I would like to turn into a book to raise money for a cancer charity.
I was at a friends memorial listening to people talk about the way she used to be and it was painful to listen to them talk about her in the past tense, the way she used to be. I had to leave the room for awhile. It doesn't get any easier losing people to cancer. I feel like helping others with cancer can help me too. I want to do something positive to balance out all the negative. That's what inspired this idea to create a book and a light painting group that also wants to create a book to raise money for a cancer charity. It's encouraging to see light painters from around the world donate their light paintings to help with this common problem.
