former Savoy Cinema, Grimsby. Opened as the Savoy Picture House in May 1920, with 1,426 seats in stalls and balcony levels. It was designed by Chadwick & Watson and was considered to be Grimsby's best cinema. Renamed Gaumont in 1950, Odeon in 1962 and finally Focus in 1975, closing in 1977. The lower levels have been converted into a fast-food restaurant, but above the false ceiling the cinema architecture survives. The Savoy is grade 2 listed.
