I will be running off with Mrs. Pixel all next week! We will be celebrating the big THREE-O (30th anniversary) later in the Month but find the timing is right to do a pre-celebration now. Our two big boys get home from college next week – ouch! They have this idea of throwing huge parties at their house (well it is theirs when we are gone) at our expense and repair.
FYI - Mrs. P wants everyone to know we were married at birth ;)

Abandoned building in Pripyat, near Chernobyl. I think this was the school building if my memory serves me correctly.
More decaying fairground rides in Pripyat, left abandoned since 1986 when the nearby nuclear plant at Chernobyl exploded.
Jo stepped out of the 3 Broomsticks and it struck her what the date was. She paused on the cobblestone street, reflecting on the stories her family had told her about the war as she slowly raised her wand above her head, casting a silent Lumos.
how odd is the number of 16seconds for the timer?
anyway. this is me, standing in my appartment, waiting for a first job to start my work day.

Rockwall County is a county in the U.S. state of Texas. At 149 square miles, Rockwall County has the smallest area of any Texas county across the entire state. Per the 2020 Census, the population was 107,819. Its county seat is Rockwall, Texas. Rockwall County was formed in 1873 from portions of Kaufman County. It split off because access to the county seat of Kaufman was inconvenient and was named for its county seat. The county and city are named for a wall-like subterranean rock formation that runs throughout the county.
The newest courthouse (seen in the photograph above) was dedicated on November 11, 2011 and was designed and built for the future growth of Rockwall County. It was constructed after many years of unrest relating to the county courthouses...whether or not they did or did not meet certain building codes, and whether or not the citizens of Rockwell County wanted a new courthouse constructed. Decaying car in the abandoned village of Zalissia in the Chernobyl Exclusion zone. I took this on my recent 2nd visit to Chernobyl, and was taken in infra red.
Infra red really gives the world around us a different perspective/point of view, so I thought it would be appropriate for this weeks theme.
