Il 23 maggio 1992 morivano sull 'autostrada A 29 , svincolo di Capaci, vicino a Palermo , il magistrato Giovanni Falcone, la moglie Francesca Morvillo, anche lei magistrato, e tre agenti della scorta. Ci furono 23 feriti.
500 kg di tritolo per questo attentato mafioso.
59 giorno dopo, il 19 luglio, sarebbe morto anche il giudice Paolo Borsellino, collega e amico di Falcone.
Molti punti restano ancora da chiarire, il cammino è lungo. Si spara meno, ma i tentacoli della mafia sono ampiamente diffusi, nella vita politica ed economica, e più difficili da individuare. Il giro di affari è ingente, di 220 miliardi di euro ( l '11 % del Pil ).
Bisogna continuare la lotta di questi grandi uomini che hanno sacrificato la loro vita, con un comportamento responsabile in tutti i settori, la denuncia, l'educazione dei giovani.
Oggi è la Giornata mondiale della Legalità. Facciamo sì che non resti solo una commemorazione

Met het miezerige weer vanmorgen ben ik toch nog even naar Groenekan gereden. Reden ik wilde zien wat het resultaat van grofcorreligheid bij hoge ISO-waarde en hogesluitersnelheid zou zijn.

Die Strecke 9212 der Westfälischen Landes-Eisenbahn (WLE) führt durch typisch westfälische Landschaft und hat dabei einige schöne Nebenbahn-Motive zu bieten. Im Jahr 2017 kamen bei der WLE auch noch Lokomotiven aus dem Hause Deutz der 1960er Jahre vor den allgegenwärtigen Steinzügen zum Einsatz. So auch Lok 30, ursprünglich eine DG 2000 CCM, welche nach der Auslieferung an die OHE 1962 in den 1980er-Jahren durch die WLE unter Verwendung von Rahmen und Drehgestellen neu aufgebaut worden ist (vgl: www.rangierdiesel.de/index.php?nav=1406157&id=44992&a...). Eben jene wuchtige, sechsachsige Lokomotive war an einem herrlichen Frühlingstag mit der Beförderung eines Leerzuges aus Beckum nach Warstein betraut, zu sehen kurz vor Lippstadt bei Cappel.
On this last day of November, the last day of my gratitude journey, I am thankful for this time of reflection... this slowing down, turning within, becoming more aware of the things I so easily take for granted. I want to carry this forward and take a moment every day to reflect back on at least one thing that I was thankful for that day... some days it might only be a smile from a stranger on the street, someone holding the door open for me or a call from my Mom... other days it's bigger things, like good news from a friend about a health scare. I have loved this journey and it definitely isn't ending today. Thank you for coming along with me over these past 30 days and for those who were also on their own journey, I have loved following your path, as well. xx
