Year: 2500.. We decided that the outside world was not a safe place for Manhattan. So, we built a bubble, a bubble that would protect us from the now poisonous atmosphere. Thing is, It wasn't stable. I was going to get a good shot of the coots foraging peacefully in the grass and then they all took off! I didn't know why. Now I'm thinking, could be the Nutria, or might be whatever scared him. (Didn't see an Eagle. Lots of Northern Harrier action, though!) Nutria a.k.a. Coypu. This vid about how Louisiana is saving the state from disappearing one burrow at a time is worth the hour and a quarter, actually has some charm, & streams free on a lot of places: www.rottentomatoes.com/m/rodents_of_unusual_size

Somehow, the recycling truck didn't came Tuesday, as it should. The next day I was prepared for the truck to come as early as 6, as that happened earlier, but I ended waiting until a more modest 10, at which point the familiar #3098 arrived. I did take photos, of course, but only 2 as I thought I've seen this truck way too many times.
