Sometimes luck is on our side to be in the right place at the right time. This was definitely one of those times to see these oxpeckers on the giraffe. Taken in Ruaha National Park, Tanzania.

Conrail GP40 3087 leads a Penn Central lettered U25B and U33B on a Westbound freight that is stopping to work at Goodman Street Yard near sunset in Rochester, NY in August, 1977. The smoke stacks of my future employer stick up above the first car. At this point in time I was only 17 and still in trade school for machine shop. I couldn't start working in any factory until I turned 18, which was in October.
