Now, i don't know what to call that guy. That guy had no chill and just went on talking.The train was just on the cards and my mind started to think what to do now!!. Haphazardly, I managed to click the train and it turned to be a good one. The train was dot on time running 14805 Yeshvantpur (YPR) - Barmer (BME) AC Express with a mammoth 6350 hp BRC WAP - 7 #30464 in charge.

I have already once photographed this train when it was rerouted via this spot before - this time, traction is provided by a much more mundane engine, but nonetheless I deemed it worth going here again - after all, it is not everyday that one sees Croatian coaches between Winterthur and Zürich... EN 30464 «Nightjet» Graz Hbf - Zürich HB with through coaches Zagreb Gl.Kol. - Zürich is seen passing Dättnau behind Re 4/4 II no. 11150. Note the ex-CNL sleeper coach (still in DB livery) towards the middle of the train. Dättnau, 21-06-2017.

LSWR D15 class, built at Eastleigh to order D15 entering service numbered 464 May 1912. Superheated September 1915 and April 1926. Became SR E464, later 464, after the 1923 amalgamation. renumbered 30464 May 1950 and withdrawn November 1954.
Illumaphonium part of the 2017 Lincoln Frequency Festival, it was located for one night in Minster Yard outside Lincoln Cathedral. In Lincoln, Lincolnshire.

Frequency Festival of Digital Culture is a biennial festival hosted in the city of Lincoln, providing a platform to celebrate the pioneering spirit of digital innovation and culture through exhibition, creative collision and debate.
The festival integrates art into Lincoln’s landscape in the form of installations, projections, site-specific work, talks and live performances. It showcases artists’ work from all over the world, using a historic city as its canvas and sharing it around the globe.
The festival is brought to the city through an established partnership between Threshold Studios, an artist-led creative media and visual arts organisation specialising in the production of digital, moving image and public realm works, the University of Lincoln, Lincoln BIG, Visit Lincoln, and Lincolnshire One Venues (LOV). Principal funding for Frequency Festival has come from the National Lottery through Arts Council England’s Grants for the Arts scheme.
The festival is being supported by a team of recent graduate interns, representing the next generation of talent emerging from the University of Lincoln, funded by the University’s internship scheme.

First surprise of year 2017... Fastest Sampark Kranti Express of India going LHB today on 15-Jan-17 after surviving in ICF coaches for more than 12 years. Seen here is Vadodara (BRC) WAP-7 # 30464 curving and charging down with load of newly allotted LHB (Linke Hofmann Busch) Coaches of fastest Sampark Kranti Express of Indian Railway i.e. Bandra Terminus - Hazrat Nizamuddin, 12907 Maharashtra Sampark Kranti Express. This was really shock from WR after silently converting Gujarat Sampark Kranti Express, the first Sampark Kranti to go LHB. Notice that it has AC coaches with first Mumbai Rajdhani type destination board.
Here are some facts about this train.
- This is the first LHB train from Bandra Terminus which is over 26 years from the time it got built in 1990s
- 2nd Sampark Kranti of Indian Railway as well as of Western Railway to go LHB in a row
- Keeping all AC trains i.e. 1 Shatabdi, 3 Rajdhani’s, 3 Duronto’s and 1 Double-Decker apart; this is the 4th train of Western Railway to go LHB following Kochuveli-Indore (which was introduced in LHB only), Karnavati Express and Gujarat Mail.

We were lucky enough to spot some fantastic action on our recent trip to Delhi which includes one of master piece for one of my favourite shed. Seen in video is first glimpse of Vadodara shed white stallion moving silently in transit with one of the oldest train (59 ½ years) of Western Railway, 19024 Firozpur - Mumbai Janta Express which is better known as Firozpur Janta Express hauled by Ghaziabad (GZB) WAP-5 # 30026 & dead Vadodara (BRC) WAP-7i # 30464. BRC shed official’s detached entire set of WAP-5 and WAP-7 at Vadodara Junction and attached another WAP-5 # 30035 of Ghaziabad (GZB) shed for journey towards to Mumbai.
With inclusion of WAP-5, WAG-9 and now WAP-7, Vadodara shed has become one and only shed hauling all type of 3 phase locomotives. As of now it has been assigned with four WAP-7s which are on its way to shed. Eagerly waiting to see these WAP-7s hauling some of the premium trains of Western Railway, like Mumbai Rajdhani and Ahmedabad Shatabdi.

Due to a major freight train derailment near Braz (AT) in the early morning of Wednesday, June 16th, the Arlberg railway line was blocked for almost a week. The three pairs of overnight trains had to be diverted via Salzburg - München - Kempten - Lindau, diesel hauled between München and Lindau. Diverted EN 464 «Zürichsee» (in Austria, this train was labeled 30464, but I am unaware of the German train number, probably 13464 thoug) from Graz / Villach / Beograd / Zagreb to Zürich passes Wohmbrechts on Tuesday, 22-06-2010, the last morning of the diversions. The train is deprived of its car transporters: no motorail service can be offered because the train does not pass by Feldkirch. Wohmbrechts, 22-06-2010.
