Low Marnham is a small village 12 miles east of Edwinstowe. Population details are included in the civil parish of Normanton-on-Trent. Located in the Village is St Wilfrid's Church, a grade I listed building.

Built by Dubs & Co, entering service during June 1897 as LSWR 714, renumbered 355 during 1898. Became SR E355 and 355 after the 1923 grouping. Superheated in July 1929. Renumbered 30355 November 1950 and withdrawn in February 1962.
Standing near the long footbridge over Guildford yard is ex Southern Railways 355, the picture was taken 12/06/1949 so on paper the loco would be 30355.
355 was built by Dubs & Co to a Drummond design it was put into traffic 08/1897. It was withdrawn 02/1961 and cut in 04/1961, the loco's life spanned the reign from Queen Victoria until Queen Elizabeth II, seeing two world wars during its lifetime.

And just to shatter the belief that only Northern Counties bodies succumbed to the ever-present hole, here we see an exiled Strathclyde Volvo Citibus G411 OGD 30355, one of Bolton Atlantean replacements, which has been retired after doing a spot of gardening. This is partly the fault of Alexanders who, after designing the A-type body with its rounded contours which simply swept the branches aside, produced this retrograde design which, although visually very attractive, is completely impractical when it comes to trees.
And mostly to blame is Bolton Council. This bus had been on the Swannies, Great Lever circulars, and the Council had plagued the route with Speedramps which are totally innefective and on Lever Edge Lane two chicanes with a speed ramp in each direction, which were dangerously narrow and forced opposing flows of traffic against each other, but also placed these chicanes in such a way that the traffic was forced right into one kerb, and forced buses into the trees with the result as shown.
