Euphorbia is a very large and diverse genus of flowering plants, commonly called spurge, in the spurge family (Euphorbiaceae). "Euphorbia" is sometimes used in ordinary English to collectively refer to all members of Euphorbiaceae (in deference to the type genus), not just to members of the genus. Some euphorbias are commercially widely available, such as poinsettias at Christmas. Some are commonly cultivated as ornamentals, or collected and highly valued for the aesthetic appearance of their unique floral structures, such as the crown of thorns plant (Euphorbia milii). Euphorbias from the deserts of Southern Africa and Madagascar have evolved physical characteristics and forms similar to cacti of North and South America, so they (along with various other kinds of plants) are often incorrectly referred to as cacti. Some are used as ornamentals in landscaping, because of beautiful or striking overall forms, and drought and heat tolerance. The plants are annual, biennial or perennial herbs, woody shrubs, or trees with a caustic, poisonous milky latex. The roots are fine or thick and fleshy or tuberous. "We ask that the Atlanta-Fulton Public Library System Board of Trustees take actions to protect the Central Library and Library System Headquarters Building, located at One Margaret Mitchell Square, from demolition and damaging renovation, whether the Library System maintains ownership or sells the building. We also ask that the building is renamed to honor its architect, the internationally renowned Marcel Breuer."

Ongeveer 10 minuten na de vorige goederentrein, diende deze trein zich alweer aan. De SNCF FRET BB 27104 nadert Port-la-Nouvelle op 28 april 2017 met trein 30303 aan de haak. Deze trein van de verlader VIIA is een hückepacktrein vanuit Calais Ville naar Le Boulou-Perthus. Ik had geluk dat de niet beladen hückepackwagens achterop de trein mee reden.
Since Lego some time ago released the "30303-1: The Joker Bumper Car" polybag, I thought I'd upload an image of the bumper cars I used in "The Chase" set I did some time ago.
I originally planned to use the light bluish gray/blue version, but I didn't have the 4083 piece in blue.
The advantage of using my 28-300 Zoom! I really like RTB livery Vectrons, but this one was going to get cut off. It is surprising that with a route so busy, a 'cut-off' was very rare for me at least . DB185-011 with 51696 heading north meets RTB 193-564 with 46669 heading south. I just about got away with that one!

Libreria Miracoli Di Vascon Claudio Book Store, on Sampo Santa Maria Nova, in the Cannaregio region of Venice, Veneto, Italy.
Cannaregio is the northernmost of the six historic sestieri (districts) of Venice. It is the second largest sestiere by land area and the largest by population, with 13,169 people as of 2007. Isola di San Michele, the historic cemetery island, is associated with the district.
The Cannaregio Canal, which was the main route into the city until the construction of a railway link to the mainland, gave the district its name (Canal Regio is Italian for Royal Canal). Development began in the eleventh century as the area was drained and parallel canals were dredged. Although elegant palazzos were built facing the Grand Canal, the area grew primarily with working class housing and manufacturing. Beginning in 1516, Jews were restricted to living in the Venetian Ghetto. It was enclosed by guarded gates and no one was allowed to leave from sunset to dawn. However, Jews held successful positions in the city such as merchants, physicians, money lenders, and other trades. Restrictions on daily Jewish life continued for more than 270 years, until Napoleon Bonaparte conquered the Venetian Republic in 1797. He removed the gates and gave all residents the freedom to live where they chose.
In the 19th century, civil engineers built a street named Strada Nuova through Cannaregio, and a railway bridge and road bridge were constructed to connect Venice directly to Mestre. Today, the areas of the district along the Grand Canal from the train station to the Rialto Bridge are packed with tourists, but the rest of Cannaregio is residential and relatively peaceful, with morning markets, neighbourhood shops, and small cafés.

In June 2018, my wife & I attended a Family Wedding at the Hilton Garden Inn, 275 Baker Street in Atlanta, Georgia. One end the hallway on the on the 13 Floor (they call it Floor PH) gave me a Great View of the CSX Tracks, while the other end of the hallway gave me a great view of the Skyview Ferris Wheel across the street from Centennial Olympic Park.
I took this Photograph from Street Level at the Corner of Baker Street and Marietta Street, near the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel. It shows the Embassy Suites Hotel, which is located at 267 Marietta Street, Atlanta, Georgia 30303.
