Es gibt nicht viele Möglichkeiten die von Rijeka ins Landesinnere Richtung Ogulin und weiter nach Zagreb führende Bahnstrecke zusammen mit dem Meer, genauer gesagt der Kvarner-Bucht, zu fotografieren. Kurz hinter Meja ergibt sich aber ein freier Blick Richtung Küste und der Stadt Rijeka. 1141 302 passiert mit Pu 4601 von Rijeka nach Ogulin den Bereich. Etwas ungewöhnlich ist die Wagengarnitur mit zwei Fernverkehrswagen 1. Klasse und nur einem Wagen der 2. Klasse, ist es doch ein Nahverkehrszug, der planmäßig nur die 2. Klasse führt. Vermutlich waren aber auch die ersten beiden Wagen für alle Fahrgäste freigegeben.
187 302 brachte einige neue Getreidewagen von Passau zum Hafen in Straubing, als ich sie bei Stephansposching ablichten konnte.
Dank reichlich Neuschnee zwischen den Jahren gelangen am 29.12. in Kärnten und Italien ein paar Winterbilder. FUC 190 302 hat mit einem Schrottzug aus Villach eben den Grenzbahnhof Tarvisio verlassen und war mit dem EUC 45233 nach Udine unterwegs.

Sonderzüge auf der Nebenbahn von Bullay nach Traben-Trarbach sind selten, insbesondere bei Tageslicht, weil die RB 85 fast ganztägig die Strecke belegt. Dabei gibt es am Morgen extra noch eine Lücke für Sonderleistungen, weil die Moselweinbahn planmäßig den Takt "wechselt". Leider fahren trotzdem die meisten Highlights auf dieser Strecke im Dunkeln, so waren dieses Jahr schon die 213 der Eifelbahn, die gelbe 218 und auch der alte GMTZ 725/726 002 im Moselstädtchen.
Auch heute Morgen stand mal wieder was besonderes auf dem Plan, sollte doch der Schienenprüfzug die morgendliche Fahrplanlücke nutzen und einen Abstecher auf die kleine Nebenbahn machen. Natürlich fiel die Hinfahrt der (einzigen) Fotowolke am Himmel zum Opfer^^. Auf der Rückfahrt passte jedoch alles, als 719/720 302 zwischen Kövenig und Reil mit gemütlichen 60 km/h durch die Weinberge fuhren...
