6 mins late 12917 Ahmedabad (ADI) - Hazrat Nizzamudin (NZM) Gujarat Sampark Kranti Express enters Vadodara with BRC WAP - 5 # 30045. Surprisingly, the GZB WAP - 4 #22346 seen here was going to haul the train from Vadodara upto Nizzamudin.

Adjusted exposure to see the stars as well as maintaining the orange glow. Shot at equivalent to 600mm. The auto exif data is incorrect. F was likely between f8 and f11.
The 2nd Offical BRC WAP - 5 #30045 with Amul Ad and a dead BRC WAP - 4 enters anand with 19 mins late running 22959 Surat (ST) - Jamnagar (JAM) Intercity Superfast Express. This train is the most preferred train for travelling towards the RAJKOT side and it is fully occupied on Holidays.

There was a slight haze, but the moon came out pretty well --almost a full moon. Used the vintage Nikon 300/4.5 AI-S mounted on Olympus e-m5 mkiii -- not an easy task because when adapted, the lens goes way past infinity. I always have to take multiple shots with slightly different focuses, then delete the bad ones when I get to the computer. This was the best of the lot. Of course this is heavily cropped. Maybe I'll get a Nikon 2x TC to see if I can get a better image with it.

150th Electric Loco manufactured in 2011 and also ideally the first WAP-5 to reach shed Vadodara, Amul Gold milk advertised, A/C cabs, Vadodara (BRC) WAP-5 # 30045 with Bikaner bound 14708 Ranakpur Express. This train was just ahead of newly inaugurated 02921 Bandra Terminus-Gorakhpur Antyodaya Inaugural Special.
