Prairie Dogs are a favorite, and I expected to spend some time in the prairie dog towns of the Dakota Black Hills on my latest wildlife safari. They sure didn't disappoint. I saw one get snagged by a coyote yesterday though (too far for photography); I guess it didn't get the warning like this.

This is a tiny section of the metal wire wheel from my bench grinder. So for this MM challenge I tried various camera lens combos. This one was a result of using a Nikon 1J1, with a an old film era 50mm Pentax lens attached, while I was holding a macro conversion lens at the end of it. I have no idea why this turned out this way, maybe the lens slipped just as the camera was triggered, or I was holding it at an odd angle, I don't know. This is the only frame that looks like this. It's weird, alien looking and abstract, but I kinda like it.

Kolejny wakacyjny poranek przyniósł bezchmurną i bezwietrzną pogodę. Gdy wiatraki w tle leniwie wykonywały kolejny z obrotów, zmodernizowana stonka, pracując w pocie czoła, zbliżała się do końca wzniesienia. Skład TLK o wdzięcznej nazwie "ROZEWIE" mija pola położone we wsi Swarzewo pozostawiając za sobą jedną z nadmorskich farm wiatrowych.
