Gulls or seagulls are seabirds of the family Laridae in the suborder Lari. They are most closely related to the terns (family Sternidae) and only distantly related to auks, skimmers, and more distantly to the waders. Gulls are typically medium to large birds, usually grey or white, often with black markings on the head or wings. They typically have harsh wailing or squawking calls; stout, longish bills; and webbed feet. Most gulls are ground-nesting carnivores which take live food or scavenge opportunistically, particularly the Larus species. Live food often includes crabs and small fish. Gulls have unhinging jaws which allow them to consume large prey. Gulls are typically coastal or inland species, rarely venturing far out to sea, except for the kittiwakes. 30004

Nachdem das Stadler Gefährt des IR 2916 knapp nach der Ausfahrt aus dem Bahnhof Giswil den Geist aufgab, wurde nach mehr als einer Stunde Verspätung die erste Fahrt des LSE-Pendels abgesagt. Erst die zweite Fahrt klappte und konnte pünktlich kurz nach der Kreuzungshaltestelle Käppeli aufgenommen werden.

Na zes dagen bikkelen in de striemende kou met in de nacht soms bijna strenge vorst zijn de spoorwerkers van Swietelsky vast bijzonder blij dat het werk er op de vroege morgen van 1 maart 2018 op de Merwede-Lingelijn bijna op zit. Terwijl de Arctische wind met snijdende gevoelstemperaturen van -15! de fotograaf slechts enkele minuten parten spelen zijn de Oostenrijkse mannen vast niet met het Nederlandse "Vorstverlet" bekend en werken zich het bevroen snot voor de ogen om eindelijk weer de warmte te kunnen genieten. Terwijl de kettinghor RM85-750 slechts luttele meters van het eindpunt is zien we de van Strukton gehuurde mooi glimmende 30004, waarvan de machinist heerlijk warm binnen zit wachten op wat komen gaat op 1 maart 2018 ter hoogte van Rhenoy.

De spoorwerkers die aan het werk zijn bij Beesd aan de Merwede-Lingelijn zijn niet te benijden. Na al dagen in een snijdende kou te hebben gewerkt, was het op de vroege morgen van 28 februari 2018 na een nacht met enige lichte sneeuw nog steeds ijzig koud met door de wind een gevoelstemperatuur van -15! Of de mannen zich hiermee nog in het zweet kunnen werken valt te bezien. Terwijl de kettinghor even stil staat zien we de ook aanwezige fraai glimmende Strukton-Deutz 30004 "Monique" met vijf lege MFS wagens terwijl de stapelwolken in rap tempo groeien in een lekker zonnetje op weg naar het depot ter hoogte van Beesd.

Seen in Kilmarnock is 30004 - LC71KXT.
LC71 KXT is a BYD D8UR/Alexander Dennis Enviro200EV new to Western buses in December 2021 as their 30004.
It has since been renumbered to 64004 and transferred from Kilmarnock to Ayr depot and seen here in Ayr operating town service 3 to Kincaidston.

In het weekeinde van 26 en 27 Mei 2018 werden er dieseldagen gehouden bij de ZLSM. Te gast bij dit evenement waren onder andere de Strukton 30004, Rail Experts 6703 en de SHD 2205. Na het festival bracht de Strukton 303004 de aparte maar fraaie combinatie over vanaf Simpelveld naar Maastricht, als de trein vlak voor Schin op Geul gefotografeerd wordt.
