3/30: April 2021: A month in 30 pictures
These are wood pigeons egg shells that I've saved from when we've had them nesting in our garden, which is actually most years. Like most people, my husband considers them a pest but I am fascinated by them and the messy nests they make. I love to see the babies peeking out of the nest and eventually take their first tentative steps along the branches before flying away.
Hope you are enjoying your weekend and that something makes you smile on this chilly Easter Saturday. I've had plenty to smile about today. My grandson came round for an egg hunt which then turned into an insect hunt. Three year olds are such fun!

How about something a little different for the photo stream today?
I had to go downtown for something today and figured I'd take a small detour while walking and get a shot of Gatineau, Quebec across the river.
It was midday so the light isn't ideal but I was there and it turned out alright so I'm not going to complain, it's been a long time since I've stitched together a panorama like this (19 shots) so I'm just happy it lined up and worked out!

Another shot from yesterday morning's fun and games. Yr Wyddfa's summit was in thick mist but only 30 metres or so lower we were able to witness this. The shot is taken looking east with Moel Siabod in the distance.
Part 30: Pippi’s prank (setting the clock back an hour) was soon noticed, and after laughing and calling her a “cute mischief maker”, everyone gathered their belongings and headed out the door. Grandmother hugged and kissed each one as she said goodbye, and they all agreed that this had been the best Thanksgiving ever!

The dog days of summer are finally here. If we don't get him up and moving early in the day he will sleep the day away. We discovered a new path along the lake yesterday and managed to get in a good walk before it got too hot. I could not convince him to go swimming, but he did do a bit of wading.

Oggi piove. Oggi è il 30 giugno e piove a dirotto. Oggi mi sono svegliata e mi mancavi un po' più del solito.
Oggi ti sarai svegliato e nemmeno ti sarai ricordato che c'è qualcuno che ti ama, lo fai sempre.
Perchè non posso ritornare indietro di un mese sistemare tutto e tornare qui? Di certo oggi non mi saresti mancato.
Oggi è il 30 giugno, piove a dirotto e io ti amo un po' di più del solito.
